Lake Point Tower Sells Holiday and Note Cards

Lake Point Tower Card

Lake Point Tower is now selling holiday and note cards using Alan Dunn’s cartoon of the building.

The cost for either is $15 for 15 cards.  They are for sale only in person at the management office.

Inside, the holiday card reads:

“Wishing you a clear direction for the holidays and the coming year.”

For forty years, Mr. Dunn contributed one cartoon each month to the Architectural Record magazine. His take on Lake Point Tower was one of his favorites.

He gave the original to George Schipporeit, co-designer of the building.

Reproduction permission was granted to the Lake Point Tower Condominium Association, courtesy of the Syracuse University Art Collection.

Dennis Domer

On July 18, Dennis Domer, an expert on landscape architect Alfred Caldwell, who designed Lake Point Tower‘s magnificent Sklyline Park, spoke with building residents about Mr. Caldwell’s life and work.  The audience gathered inLPTs third floor glass-enclosed warp-around corridor.  Mr. Domer’s expertise, wit and Caldwell remembrances were an immediate hit with the group.
